v1.6
The update to v1.6 is available now in both app stores.
Calendar Sync
- Classes instructors are scheduled to teach can be sync'd with their phone's calendar app
- Regularly scheduled and subbing classes show in the calendar
- Calendar sync can be turned on / off from the settings menu
Updated Instructors screen
- To make it easier when you need to make updates
- To make the meaning more clear, instructors are now listed as 'Active' and 'Inactive' instead of 'Verified' and 'Unverified'.
- The Active and Inactive lists are now separated into two screens.
- Instructors are listed alphabetically and the lists are searchable
- Improved screen load times for studios with a large number of instructors

Faster MINDBODY updates
- When you make a change to your schedule in MINDBODY, the changes are more quickly reflected in Instrukt.
Also:
- In addition to photos, you can now include URLs in your announcements. Your team members will be able to click the links to access the content you are linking
- Additional clean up and enhancements throughout the app

The update to v1.4 is available now in both app stores.
Decline sub requests
- Instructors can indicate they are unavailable to sub by declining the sub request.
- An instructor who has declined a request will no longer see the sub opportunity in their schedule view.
- Declined status is displayed for management and the instructor who submitted the sub request.
- Owner-Instructors can decline sub opportunities also. The declined status will be displayed, but the class will remain in the schedule view.
- Declined requests can be accessed and accepted if the instructors' availability changes.
Instructors can access sub requests they've declined
- Declined sub opportunities are removed from the instructor's schedule view but remain accessible in the notifications list.
- Instructors can accept sub opportunities they've previously declined.
Available subs are shown in the sub request detail
- Available instructors are shown are shown in the sub requested screen. Instructors who have declined the opportunity are indicated with a red X on their profile picture.
- Available subs are shown to management and the instructor who submitted the sub request.
Know when requests are sent using preferred subs
- When an instructor submits a request with preferred subs selected, it is indicated.
- When the preferred period closes with the sub request still unfilled, the text will change to 'Available' and the rest of your approved instructors will be shown in the available list.
Cancel buttons relocated
- For Owners and Mangers, to make more space for the most commonly used features, the Cancel Sub Request and Cancel Class buttons have moved.
- These are now available by tapping the three dots in the upper right corner.

- Past and future sub request activity is visible anytime
- Select a date range to view
- Filter results based on what you want to see
- Sort results for easy viewing
- View comments instructors submitted with their sub request
- Export reports of the filtered data any time
Weekly reports will still be emailed to you.

Studio Announcements
- Send studio announcements to your team
- No contact lists required!
- Announcements won’t get buried in your teams’ email inboxes!
- Include pictures
- If you have multiple locations, send to specific locations or all
- Announcements are 1-way only
User Interface Updates
- Tabs have been removed for better use of available screen space
- Tap the bell icon for the notifications list
- Tap the chat bubble to compose and view studio announcements
Where’d the Classes and Instructors settings go?
- Class and instructor setup is now in the settings menu.
- Settings are now accessed by tapping on the three bars in the upper left corner.
